Eatery Review: 22 The Square

Random diet break on a Monday night. We went to a little eatery called 22 the Square, it’s very cute, lots of glass and great lighting.

We enjoyed 2 courses each and I was stuffed. Well I have spent 2 weeks on LL.

Starters – Jimbob had Mozzarella in breadcrumbs in a tomato sauce and I had Meatballs in the Best tomato sauce ever.

For main Jimbob had Pizza Pollo Paprika- it was too sloppy. The base could of been a wee bit crispier. And no I didn’t even have a bite.

I had Chicken in a tomato sauce but I had the sauce on the side. In all honesty I wish the sauce had been the same as the meatballs, but having spoken with lovely waiter he said he would be happy to mix and match the sauce on my next visit. This really ticks a box with me, I hate it when resturants are rigid and it also shows everything is fresh and made to order.

Word to discribe the evening:
Hiccup

Would I return, Yea but maybe when there more established.  I don’t know whether we picked a bad night but the service wasn’t 100% there, water went to the wrong table, the guy who delivered it didnt pour it, so as I went to another server took it off me. Plus it took a while to order and it wasn’t that busy. But the food was lovely and fresh.
